VNV Nation is a futurepop/ebm band from the likes of all over Europe. By that I mean their members come from many separate European countries, but now they all just kinda live in Hamburg.
This is a beautiful album filled with more melancholy and nostalgia than most humans can fathom without going insane. It's an intensely emotional album and is best listened to while intensely emotional. It might also have some religious undertones, but I'm not sure if that's true or if I'm just paranoid.

Also, the VNV stands for Victory, Not Vengeance. Nice little tidbit.
